i am trying to learn as much as i can, what do you mean by "a little bit of raw-settings?" are you referencing the "raw" format pictures can be taken in? i love the contrast of focus to non focus here and wonder if that has to do with your "raw" comment
with "raw settings" i mean that i shot the picture in RAW-Mode and then i adjusted some things on my PC later at home. a bit of contrast and level adjustments in my RAW-Editor.
The focus cannot be changed in that way. That comes with the f1.7 that gives a very small area for the focus so you can kind of cut the object from the background.
but you will need a lens that has a such an f-stop.

btw. i just reuploaded the pic since i made some minor changes.
i thing sometimes the RAW workflow is too much work, but if you want to have more ways to alter your image after shooting there is no better way i would say
